Instead of using a 12volt to USB power port which sometimes cause noise on lower HF bands I thought I would give this a try. its a UBEC DC-DC coverter which takes a 5.5 to 26volt input and gives us a steady 5volt supply and it supposed to have limited EM interference....

I added the Adafruit GPS hat to my Raspberry Pi 3B+ today. As well as a GPS it has a real time clock, which should help the time accuracy of the Pi. My first problem was that I had to solder the GPIO connector on. Don’t look to close at the pic, it’s not very good...
